Antiquorum's June 18th auction is rapidly approaching and collectors can look forward to bidding on a wide variety of the world's most sought after watches. There will be over 350 extraordinary timepieces in the Important Collectors' Wristwatches, Pocket Watches & Clocks sale at Antiquorum's US headquarters on Madison Avenue in New York City . Prior to the auction, collectors and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to view these remarkable timepieces in Los Angeles and New York.
Highlights included in the June New York sale
Antiquorum experts are proud to offer the Patek Philippe Ref. 3990. Made circa 2000. This reference is no longer in production. It is a very fine and important, water-resistant, pink gold and diamond wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, perpetual calendar, moon phases, with sapphire crystal back.
Estimate: $150,000 - $200,000
For the Breguet aficionado, Antiquorum will offer the Breguet, "Souscription No. 34/300". Sold on Dec. 24, 1992. Made in a limited edition of 300 sets in the early 1990s. It is an extremely fine, rare and important set of two Souscription watches: an 18K yellow gold minute-repeating wristwatch with perpetual calendar, phases and age of the moon, leap year indication and an 18K yellow gold, self-winding "perpetuelle" pocket watch with power reserve, instantaneous calendar, phases and age of the moon.
Estimate: $80,000 - $120,000
In addition, collectors will also want to bid on the Breguet "Tourbillon Squelette Perpetuel". Made in 2000. It is a very fine and rare, large, skeletonized, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and perpetual calendar with retrograde date.
Estimate: $80,000 - $100,000
Furthermore, we will be offering an Audemars Piguet "Edward Piguet - Tourbillon", sold in August 1999. This outstanding timepiece is a very fine and rare, rectangular, skeletonized, platinum wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator.
Estimate: $70,000 - $110,000
Also in the sale is the Lange & Söhne "Langematik Perpetual". Made in 2006. Production of this reference started in 2001. It is a very fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, platinum wristwatch with perpetual calendar, over-sized date and moon phases.
