World renowned Swiss watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet opened its first boutique in Macau on November 9. Locating at The Shoppes at Four Seasons Hotel Macau, the boutique will set a new benchmark for the brand's further expansion into the Chinese market.
Representing the debut boutique co-operation with Prince Jewellery & Watch Co., this Audemars Piguet Macau Boutique is 1,206 square feet in size and is the perfect place to showcase its creations. The store's design brings together the watchmaker's values and philosophy. While inside the boutique, a jewellery zone is set to showcase some of Audemars Piguet's glamourous jewellery collections. Customers can also enjoy the stunning masterpieces in a cosy VIP area.
Mr. Wolfgang Sickenberg, CEO of Audemars Piguet (HK) Ltd. said, "Macau, the oriental Las Vegas, with its enormous travel and tourist infrastructure, is one of the fastest developing cities for Audemars Piguet in China. The new boutique will be a perfect place to enhance our reputation and project our values of tradition, excellence and innovation. In this booming market, we have confidence that our products will be acknowledged and welcomed by more watch collectors and customers."
To celebrate the opening, Audemars Piguet invited Hong Kong celebrities Kevin Cheng and Bernice Liu to join Mr. Sickenberg as well as the Executive Directors of Prince Jewellery & Watch Co, Jimmy Tang and Joseph Chu for an exciting lion eye-dotting and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Both celebrities were honored to share the special moment with Audemars Piguet, acting as models to show off the compnay's watches during the ceremony. While Kevin put on a Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph (priced at HK$338,000), Bernice wore the latest Lady Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph (priced at HK$360,000).
After the ceremonies, Mr. Sickenberg also revealed for the first time details of the latest limited edition Royal Oak Offshore Survivor Chronograph (priced at HK$298,000) watch to guests and media. Everyone was amazed by the intricate sophistication of the timepiece, not to mention the surroundings of the new Audemars Piguet boutique on what was a relaxing Sunday evening.
