The Grand Opening of the boutique was inaugurated on 23 rd November, 2009 in the presence of Mr. Andre Meier, Sales Vice President of Blancpain Worldwide, Ms. Sincere Chiu, Vice President of Blancpain Hong Kong, Master Watchmaker Mr. Vincent Calabrese and famous artiste Miss Gigi Leung who elegantly arrived in an eye-dazzling Blancpain Lamborghini.

The ceremony commenced with a welcoming remark by Mr. Andre Meier, Sales Vice President of Blancpain Worldwide. Mr. Andre Meier then joined hands with Ms. Sincere Chiu, Vice President of Blancpain Hong Kong, Master Watchmaker Mr. Vincent Calabrese and Miss Gigi Leung to officiate at the ribbon-cutting ceremony and an eye-dotting ceremony, followed by a lion dance which created a major sensation at the heart of Central. Miss Gigi Leung was delighted to receive a precious Blancpain timepiece that suits perfectly with her unique and charming character. The Boutique was officially opened with officiating guests unveiling a specially designed curtain, and guests were subsequently invited to enter the picturesque Boutique for a premiere tour.

As the third boutique established in Hong Kong and Macau , the new Flagship Boutique, which occupies a total area of 85 square metres, goes along with the brand's philosophy with every trivial part of the Boutique being meticulously embellished. Featuring furniture mainly made with quality cherry wood, the shop appears perfectly classic and elegant. In addition to the showcases displaying the well-received collections of the brand, the venue is also filled with comfortable seating, to offer a relaxing environment for watch aficionados to appreciate the century-long craftsmanship and glorious timepieces of the brand as well as an exceptional shopping experience to the customers.
