2008 marks the 90 th anniversary of Mido. For the occasion, the Swiss company is launching a limited edition certified by the COSC: the All Dial Chronometer Limited Edition. Available in 900 pieces, this sporty and elegant model, successfully combining carbon and black PVD with highlights in rose PVD, expresses an artistic originality that will make it a love-at-first-sight watch.
In 2002 Mido inaugurated the collection that was to become one of its flagship products, the All Dial. To celebrate its 90th anniversary, the Swiss manufacturer established in Le Locle is enriching the series by proposing a special edition, limited to 900 pieces: the All Dial Chronometer Limited Edition.
In keeping with the spirit of Mido, which offers its clientele watches conceived and designed to stand the test of time, the All Dial reflects the harmony and ingenuity of one of the most celebrated monuments of ancient Rome : the Coliseum. This famous amphitheatre, the pride of the Eternal City , bequeaths to the All Dial model its structure and its architecture. The conical shape of the edifice inspires the design of the case, and the dial recaptures the trait of Roman architects by covering the entire surface of the watch. Creating a veritable feast for the eyes as it marks marking the passage of time, the display of the All Dial is supremely open and visible.
The All Dial Chronometer Limited Edition will appeal by dint of its elegant and sporty appearance. At first glance, the color black dominates: the rubber strap, the steel case with black PVD coating, the carbon fiber dial. However the piece overall is tastefully enhanced by subtle touches of rose PVD, for example the ferrules, the buckle, the indices, the numerals and the hands. The latter components have been given an exceptional chamfered and diamond-polished finish piece by piece. The array of colors and the contrasts they form offer enthusiasts an original and artistic model.
The technical characteristics of the All Dial Chronometer Limited Edition enhance its appeal: ETA automatic movement certified as a chronometer by the COSC, power reserve, transparent case-back, non-reflecting sapphire crystal treated both sides, screw-lock crown and water-resistance guaranteed to 100 meters.
All of these features make the All Dial Chronometer Limited Edition a watch that can be worn both during the day, when playing a sport, and during the evening when elegance comes to the fore.
