Omega presents A Night for Valentines with Laura Fygi & The Hong Kong Philharmonic

Omega proudly presents A Night for Valentines with Laura Fygi & The Hong Kong Philharmonic as a support to bringing beautiful music to the community during this festive season. This concert featuring Dutch singer Laura Fygi, and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, will be held at 8pm from February 12 – 14, at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall, it will be a time for the performers to share romantic moments with music lovers.

In 1991, Laura Fygi released her jazzy solo debut Introducing and has become an instant success. It was followed in 1992 by Bewitched, rearranging tracks from other singers. In her next album, The Lady Wants To Know, Latin touch had been incorporated, showing her love and passion in Brazilian music. In 1997, she collaborated with the renowned French composer and pianist Michel Legrand in Watch What Happens, which marked her milestone in the profession. The album was perceived as the best in her career by the industry.

Laura Fygi has performed live at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, where she was showered with compliments. Laura Fygi at Ronnie Scott’s, her latest release proved her leading position in the world of jazz.

The most well-known songs by Hong Kong audience are “What are you doing the rest of your life?” (Theme song of Residence Bel-Air), “Dream a Little Dream”, “The Summer Knows”, “Autumn Leaves”, etc.
