In celebrating this ambitious long-term partnership and the success of the PERSHING COLLECTION, PARMIGIANI FLEURIER hosted a Launch Cocktail on November 17, 2009 at The Plateau at Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Being two leading manufacturers in respective watchmaking and yacht construction industries, the fusion of the values of excellence of PARMIGIANI FLEURIER and PERSHING sealed the promise of a unique history , marked by the aim of constant perfection of tried and tested know-how. The result of this partnership was the creation of the first range of sports activity timekeeper of PARMIGIANI FLEURIER, the Pershing limited edition "one-one-five" chronograph, in 2008. The Pershing collection incorporates a mechanical movement that is entirely manufactured by PARMIGIANI FLEURIER and reveals undreamed-of curves while preserving the key elements of Parmigiani: elegance and classicism which only the expertise of an autonomous watch manufacture can guarantee.

Several models with comprehensive variety of mechanisms were followed in 2009 and won over a broad international public, corroborating the perfect match between the two business cultures, based on values of excellence and expertise in manufacturing know-how. One of the models, the Pershing Astéria has been awarded the Public's Favourite (PRIX DU PUBLIC) of Watch of the Year 2009, once again confirming the success and burgeoning reputation of the partnership.

A private preview of the full collection of PERSHING COLLECTION was arranged for media during the press session in the afternoon. A cocktail launch evening was right behind the press session. To give the guests a unique touch of the PERSHING COLLECTION, the venue was transformed into an enchanting oceanic world. A highly acclaimed International jazz band performed next to the pool side throughout the glittering evening, allowing guests to indulge themselves in the pinnacle of exceptional marine ambiance, world-class fine wine and canapés as well as supreme watchmaking.

To mark this special occasion and the exclusive partnership of two luxurious brands, Mr. Jean-Marc Jacot, CEO of PARMIGIANI FLEURIER, and Mr. Herbert Adamczyk, the CEO of Noble Brand, official distributor of PERSHING in HK were the officiating guests to kick-off the launch of PERSHING COLLECTION and celebrate the exclusive partnership. In thanking the appreciation from the guests, a complimentary sea trial in an Italian PERSHING yacht and the latest timekeeper of PERSHING COLLECTION will be presented to the lucky draw winners in this evening. Apart from the two previews on the 17 th November at Grand Hyatt, t he entire PERSHING COLLECTION will be exhibited exclusively in Oriental Watch Company at 100 Queen's Road Central and Carnarvon Road TST in the whole month of December.
