Audemars Piguet, the prestigious Swiss watchmaker with 134 years history, worked together with Hong Kong's renowned film producer Peter Chan Ho-Sun by featuring a few antique pocket watches from the Swiss Audemars Piguet Museum for the shooting of the historical film – “Bodyguards and Assassins”. In the screenplay, the antique pocket watch was iconic in marking the time about the safeguarding the assassinations of the revolutionary Sun Yat-sen when he arrived in Hong Kong in 1900. To celebrate this significant partnership, a Gala Premiere was staged at UA iSQUARE on December 13.

Mr. David von Gunten, Chief Executive Officer of Audemars Piguet (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. was joint by the grand cast of “Bodyguards and Assassins” at the ceremony of the Gala Premiere.

Many Hong Kong socialites and celebrities such as Raymond Chow Man Wai couple, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Virginia Lok Yee-Ling , Cha Siu Yan, Celilia Wang Cissy , Patrick Tse Yin , Vincent Kok Tak-Chiu , Cheung Tat-Ming, Mani Fok Man-hei, Ankie Beilke , Kwok Siu-Ming couple , Dr Leong Che-Hung J.P , Alfred CHEUNG Kin-Ting couple attended the “Bodyguards and Assassins” Gala Premiere and were amazed by the Audemars Piguet antique pocket watch exhibition.

Made in 1900s and a handful collection of the Swiss Audemars Piguet Museum, the Audemar Piguet antique pocket watch was delivered to China for the first time for the shooting of “Bodyguards and Assassins”.
