Opening Celebration of Glashütte Original boutique at K11

The grand opening of the second Glashütte Original boutique in Hong Kong was celebrated on 21 January, 2010, in co-operation with franchise partner Chow Tai Fook. The boutique is located at the brand-new shopping mall “K11” in Hanoi Road in Kowloon and showcase s the finest and latest models of the German watch manufactory. Following the successful opening of the first boutique in 2009 in Pak Sha Road , this is the second store in Hong Kong offering exclusively fine timepieces by Glashütte Original. In the presence of Mr. Dieter Pachner, VP Sales of Glashütte Original, Mr. Kevin Rollenhagen , President of Swatch Group Greater China and Australia , Mr. Leo Poon, VP North Asia of Glashütte Original, and Mr. Koo Tong Fat, Director of Chow Tai Fook, the new boutique was inaugurated at 4.00 pm.

As a special guest of honor, Mr. Frank Burbach, Consul General of the Consulate of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hong Kong and Macau , also attend ed the official opening and participate in the ceremonious cutting of the ribbon. Several VIP guests and selected media representatives from Hong Kong and China were invited to attend this special event followed by a mini watch show, media interviews and a cocktail party. The Glashütte Original mini watch show was presented by famous models Jessica C. , Jocelyn Sandstorm and Anthony Sandstorm.

The new boutique is the second mono-brand store by Glashütte Original in Hong Kong , featuring the full range of the collection including novelties such as the Senator Chronometer and the Senator Perpetual Calendar Ceramics. A separate VIP area and a well-assorted bar counter add to the exclusive and pleasurable atmosphere of the store.

The opening of the boutique in Hong Kong is part of a global roll-out plan of a new design concept of the German watch manufacturer. With its carefully selected materials, stylish furniture and display cabinets as well as its contemporary overall appearance, the boutique reflects the values the manufactory stands for: technical perfection, modern design, and timeless elegance.
